I offer Jungian Psychotherapy and Analysis, Biodynamic Massage Therapy and Hypnosis. I work from the premise that our minds and bodies have within them an inherent drive to become healthy, and while Psychotherapy seeks to do this through a relationship based on talking things through, Biodynamic Massage works with the body’s wisdom using a variety of massage techniques, many of which are very gentle. This form of massage is often very effective where an individual is suffering from stress, insomnia, the effects of old injuries, or physical complaints which may be considered difficult to treat with conventional medicine. It also promotes deep relaxation and a sense of wellbeing. The process of Jungian Psychotherapy or Analysis, by contrast, is one of becoming acquainted with resources and energy which are hidden in the unconscious. It takes the form of deep reflection, aimed at bringing to consciousness dynamics which are affecting our waking life but of which we are unaware. Hypnosis offers a different approach again, and is often an effective solution for people who want to address a specific issue which is causing difficulty, such as fear of flying or confidence and performance related anxiety.
I am a member of the Guild of Analytical Psychology (GAP), the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP), the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP), the Association of Biodynamic Massage Therapists (ABMT), and the Academy of Past Life Regression Therapy.
